As shown in a new YouTube video

As we already mentioned in a number of our previous posts, the netbook market segment is gradually gaining more and more significance and popularity. In turn, this can't but be a good enough reason for a number of manufacturers to announce the release of their own small-sized, low-cost sub-notebooks. This is also the case with Fujitsu Siemens, of which recent rumors claimed it was preparing a new portable computer that would be meant to compete with ASUS' Eee PC, Acer's Aspire One and MSI's Wind.

The rumors about Fujitsu's upcoming product are rather solid, somewhat despite the fact that no one appears to have a full specifications list of this thing. In fact, up to this point, we only know that the netbook is going to be part of the company's Amilo series and will allegedly be named Amilo Mini because, obviously, of its small size. Other known details are that it will feature an 8.9-inch display and that it will probably be able to run a Windows operating system.

As mentioned above, the rumors about Fujitsu's upcoming netbook are quite solid, and that's because photos of the Amilo Mini have been spotted all over the Internet. In fact, this little "fellow" has even seen its fair share of video camera time. While the first video we told you about yesterday didn't actually show us any of the features of the netbook, a second YouTube video just surfaced does precisely that. Judging by it, it looks like the Amilo Mini will be quite customizable and will let its users change the exterior design - thanks to the interchangeable lid covers it comes with.

While this is not quite a computing feature per se, it is the first time we get to see what the Amilo Mini will provide in order to compete with the aforementioned netbooks. We can only hope that future "leaked" videos will give us even more information about this small portable computer that is expected to have a price tag set in the $470-630 range.
