Dubbed as the MOTORIZR Z8

Word goes on the web ?streets? that Motorola is going to release another version of their MOTORIZR cellphone but, this time, apart from a changed style of the overall device, they will also add some 3G sweetness to it.

This new revamped variant of the RIZR will come with a whole new image, more on the retro side than the high tech feeling we are used to these days and, most importantly and the thing that hinted everybody about the new 3G flavor implemented in this cellphone, a front digital camera which will be used as a video calling tool.

If you have even the slightest impression that this device has also got a touch of weirdness together with the 3G goodies, you couldn't be more right because, as someone has said on the web, the Z8 does look ?like it got attacked by a highlighter? :).

If this handset's spec sheet will resemble even the slightest bit with the Z6's one, you should get prepared to have a taste of Motorola's Linux and Java based platform with support for Microsoft's Windows Media Player 11, at least a 2 megapixel camera, a music player with support for MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, WAV and many other audio file types, an expansion card slot of some kind and, of course, a pack of built-in memory.

As I've said, the specs I've just put down on paper aren't the final thing that will get on the Z8 but more of a try to get a preview of what we should expect from it.

If I will be proven wrong and Motorola will decide the Z8 should get a spec sheet a lot better than its older brother, the Z6, that will only be for the good of all of us.
