With dual cameras and dual mode UMTS

Finally! I thought I will not live long enough to see Motorola get something else on their RZR series apart from tattoos and new funky (to be read ?lame?) colors.

The photo you see attached here pictures a presumable 3G enabled Motorola KRZR with two cameras, a 2 megapixel external one and an internal one being most surely used for video calls, a QVGA screen and dual mode UMTS.

The leaked photo arrived from the motox.info forum via one of their members that has a little more spy experience than most people (as far as I see it at the moment, because no one else was capable to get their hands on this KRZR version).

The handset is very similar to the K1 and as the sender of the photos said, he was near to closing a deal with the guy that let him lay his paws on the ?K1+3G? handset, as he dubbed it, but he found out the cellphone had a bug that wouldn't let it send or receive any text messages.

Therefore, he decided that the 250 $ price tag was too much for a device with no text messaging capabilities, even though the GSM radio with dual mode UMTS was a pretty good feature to justify the money.

If the device will be anything like its K1 sibling, we must expect a 256k colors TFT internal display, at least 20 MB of built-in memory, integrated Java MIDP 2.0 technology, possibly integrated speech recognition, wireless Bluetooth with A2DP profile, a music player with MP3 support and some sort of memory expansion card slot.

Other details about this device aren't available and for now we must be satisfied with the things we've got.

And one final note: the handset will probably be released under the name of MOTOKRZR K3, a pretty good choice to blend the K1 with the 3G in my humble opinion.
