A few days ago, word came that there will be some new Test Drive Unlimited downloadable content, and Atari kept their word releasing this new content today. This content consists of some downloadable cars and a patch to fix career progress issue.

If you want some new cars to race around in Test Drive Unlimited, just log on Xbox Live Marketplace and start downloading. You will be able to download the Chevrolet Corvette C1 1957 and the Lexus IS 350 for free, but if you want to race them you will have to spend some in-game money.

That's it for the free content, as Atari also released a Test Drive Collection pack that includes all the cars mentioned so far, and also the RUF RGT, Koenigsegg CCR, Corvette C6 Convertible, Noble M400, Lamborgini Countach 25th Anniversary Edition and the Ferrari 250 GTO. All these cars cost around US$ 5, and if you want to talk Microsoft points about 350.

If you experienced problems with your career progress, namely if the computer set you back some 11% in career mode - from 88% down to 77%, to give you an example- your troubles are over. Atari are looking into this problems and in order to fix it they have temporarily deactivated the E-trade system.
