If you are a nostalgic of the old days or you just want to experience some of the classic games, this is your chance. Atari has decided to try and revive some of their classic games by bringing them to Xbox Live this holiday season.

You won't have to insert a coin to play these games anymore, but some fee will be required. The list includes six titles that were big hits in the 70s, 80, and 90s. The first game to be ported to Xbox Live is Centipede/Millipede, in which players have to defend their village against attacks of centipedes, spiders and armies of ants. The graphics of this game have been improved, as motion blur trails and particle-based explosions have been introduced.

The second game on the list is Battlezone, the first tank vs. tank game ever. Atari has decided to improve it by adding some new multiplayer modes like Deathmatch, Team Deatmatch and Capture the Flag.

Asteroids or Asteroids Deluxe is the oldest game that will be ported onto Xbox Live, as it fist saw the light of day back in 1979. The Xbox Live version has been updated with high-def graphics. In Missile Command, another classic game that will be brought to the Xbox, players have to protect their city from alien missile attack. It also features improved graphics.

Tempest and Warlords are the two remaining titles from Atari ported to the Xbox. Both titles will feature high-definition graphics and some new multiplayer features.
