Mobile Operator Telus added a couple of new phones to their product portfolio, a white version of the KRZR from Motorola and the Samsung u510.

Following the recent trend of operators, Telus chose to present its customers with a paler version of the KRZR, although truth be told, differences between this and the original gray version of Motorola's clamshell are very small.

The white version of the 'ultra slim and fashionable Motorola KRZR K1m, the hottest new phone from Motorola' sports the same features that can easily be described as average, including a 262k color screen with a 176 x 220 pixel resolution, 2 megapixel camera, MP3 player, Bluetooth for connectivity, speakerphone, video recording and playback capabilities and instant messaging.

Telus customers will also be able to get themselves a Samsung u510, a stylish slider with a nice set of features including a 220 x 176 pixel display, 1.3 megapixel camera, MicroSD card slot for memory expansion, Bluetooth with stereo headset support, MicroSD card slot for memory expansion, dual-band 800/1900 and EV-DO support and touch sensitive controls.

It will also come with support for various TELUS services, such as TELUS mobile music, TELUS navigator, MSN windows Live and MyEmail. On a full battery, it will last for up to 210 minutes of talk time and 384 hours on standby. While nothing out of the ordinary, the two phones are an appreciated edition to Telus' lineup.

Both handsets will be available on a three-year agreement, but with different price tags. The white KRZR will cost just as much as its silver version, $149 CDN, while the U510 will be available at $100 CDN.
