Blizzard Entertainment has started a new forum topic asking fans of the Diablo series to jump in and enumerate some of the changes and enhancements they'd like to see added in the next patch for Diablo II. Mac users are just as entitled to get the same content as PC users.

“We’re in the process of working on Diablo II content patch 1.13, and we want to try to include the Diablo community’s most important changes in our production schedule,” Blizzard, the developer of the popular RPG title, says. “To achieve this we’re asking for your input on what you’d like to see in this patch. However, we’re making it a bit stricter than a full-blown wish list.”

The developer and publisher of several successful titles, including StarCraft and World of Warcraft, continues to outline that “Our goal is to get an overall sense of the single most important request from every member of the community. We want as many posts as we can get for the largest cross section, so if you have friends who used to play Diablo II or just don’t frequent the forums as much as you do, let them know this is here so we can get their '#1 patch note' too.”

The company urges users to be “mindful,” as not every request will be fulfilled, “But, hopefully, with your feedback we can prioritize and do our best to cover as much as possible,” Blizzard assures Diablo II fans.

The latest update to Diablo II eliminates the hassle of using the game CD every time you want to play. If all required Diablo 2 “.MPQ” files are also available in your Diablo II directory on your Mac's hard drive, you can put that Diablo II CD in a picture frame and up on a wall, according to the developer.

So, as Blizzard itself puts it, “If you were to get an advance look at the patch notes for Diablo II 1.13, what is the one patch note you would want to see?”
