If Chloe remains in the roster, it will be available to all

About one month ago Tekken 7 developer Katsuhiro Harada revealed a fresh new character for its upcoming fighting game, Lucky Chloe. Unfortunately for Harada, many fans of the franchise haven’t been enamored by the new blonde-haired cat lady with pinky outfit, on the contrary.

Seeing all the negative feedback coming from lots of Tekken players, Harada tweeted the following message to those asking for an option to delete Lucky Chloe from their roster:

"Calm down and don't worry. That character are East Asia and Europe exclusive. And I'll say again, we've more new characters on TK7. She is JUST one of them. She will be country exclusive (or region exclusive) character. We don't include her for your region. That's why I said calm down and don't worry."

That was probably directly aimed at US players, though Harada wasn’t specific about that. Anyway, fast forward one month and Katsuhiro Harada now claims that what he said one month ago was just sarcasm and that he was joking when he said Lucky Chloe character will be exclusive to some regions (East Asia and Europe).

All characters in Tekken 7 will be available to everyone, no matter his/her location   In fact, none of the Tekken 7 will be exclusive to one or more regions, as developers want to offer all the players the same gameplay experience and that can’t happen if some characters are missing in some regions.

Here is Katsuhiro Harada’s short statement regarding Lucky Chloe, which might be applied to all the other characters that will be part of the Tekken 7 roster:   "Media will see only what they want to see. Many spammers / haters attacking us (That was an extreme prejudice and tons of dirty words. Of course I hate this happen), then I said just counter [with] 'sarcasm / joke.' Anyway, We promise an experience equal for all players, communities. Haven't changed since the first TEKKEN. And I hope you will understand us one day. Thanks!"

That being said, if you were afraid that Lucky Chloe or any other Tekken 7 character for that matter wouldn’t be available in your country, then rest assured that Bandai Namco will offer all players the same content.
