Samsung has just announced that it will partner with Ted Baker and Carphone Warehouse in order to bring a special edition mobile phone in the UK. It will hit the market this Christmas along with a themed HTC handset too.

Ted Baker looks for some serious notoriety boost with the release of these two mobile phones carrying the company's name. Both HTC and Samsung are among the leading handset producers, which makes this partnership an association of some of the most well known brands.

The Samsung mobile phone that will carry the Ted Baker mark is actually a yet unreleased model, the S760. What will clearly state this phone to be a branded one is the central menu button. Instead of an old fashion one, designers have placed a shirt button. This is the only sign of the phone being a special one, related to the high street fashion label.

Other than the unique central menu button, the handset looks quite plain, following the line of previous Samsung phones with no innovations. Specifications show the fact that it will also be equipped with a 2 megapixel camera and MP3 player in order to live up to the entertainment needs of the owner. Moreover, this will be a 3G-enabled phone, although no other evolved features have been revealed. The special edition Samsung S760 will come in three colors of Reef Blue, Coffee and Rouge.

HTC will also add to the Ted Baker limited edition with a purple version of its HTC Touch smartphone. The phone will also receive a slight change in design, as it will be somewhat shorter and stubbier than the original one. Other than these features, the handset will keep its previous performances, including Wi-Fi, TouchFLO and Windows Mobile 6 operating system.

The two Ted Baker mobile phones will arrive at Carphone Warehouse in November, this year. Their price has yet not been disclosed, although customers should expect to pay a premium over standard handsets.
