Valve is set to deploy a brand new update for its massively successful Team Fortress 2 online shooter, called the Über Update, which brings not only enhancements for one of two remaining classes that didn't receive special treatment, but also plenty of new things for other character classes.

Team Fortress 2 is continuing to delight players with plenty of special things, including the release of new maps and the ever-increasing variety of hats that can be worn by the characters in the game, as well as new features like video recording.

Now, Valve, its developer, is going to deploy a brand new update for the online-only first person shooter, "the biggest, most ambitious update in the history of Team Fortress 2."

The new update is set to be released on Thursday, June 23, and, until then, the company will be unveiling new things, including weapons and hats, for all classes.

What's more, the Uber Update will focus on one of the two remaining characters that didn't receive special overhauls. The identity of the class was revealed with classic Valve humor, which you can enjoy below.

"We've been holding one of the surprises pretty close to the vest for months now. We don't want to ruin it, but we'll give you four clues to get you guessing:

1.) It IS a "Meet the" short. 2.) It involves ONE of the two remaining classes. 3.) It's NOT the Pyro. 4.) It's the MEDIC.

The first update included in the bigger Uber one is called Mobster Monday, and adds brand new weapons for the Heavy and the Spy classes.

The Heavy gets a new minigun, called the Tomislav, a shotgun, called The Family Business, and special brass knuckles called the Eviction Notice.

The Spy gets a special revolved called The Enforcer, a new knife, called the Big Earner, and an accessory called the Made Man, basically a flower he can put on the bodies of the enemies he's killed.

A new map for the Payload mode is also a part of the Mobster Monday, called Barnblitz.

Last but especially not least, Valve is also offering a traditional free weekend for Team Fortress 2 players, but, this time, it's a bit special, as the free weekend lasts all week, meaning you can play the online shooter right now, for free, until the Sunday.
