14 DAY TRIAL // Singer Taylor Swift and actor Jake Gyllenhaal have reportedly started dating about a month ago – and he’s already had the chance of meeting the parents. The two have been photographed together in Taylor’s hometown Nashville over Thanksgiving.
They’re yet to go on the record with their blossoming romance, but reports are saying things are getting pretty intense between them. In fact, the Thanksgiving holiday may be confirmation of this.
People magazine reports that the first clear picture of the two together has emerged online, days after rumor broke that Jake had traveled to Nashville to be with Taylor over Thanksgiving, which can’t but mean things are getting more serious between them.
“It's been a busy travel weekend for most Americans – and especially for Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal,” People reports.
“Two days after enjoying maple lattes together in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Thanksgiving, Swift and Gyllenhaal popped up in the singer’s hometown of Nashville,” the same report notes.
“On Saturday afternoon, the couple were spotted getting a late breakfast at Fido, a coffeehouse and café near Vanderbilt University and Music Row,” People says.
This wasn’t just a pure coincidence either, an eyewitness says for the celebrity magazine: Taylor and Jake seemed very much like an item, they were acting like lovers not good friends.
“They were smiling and laughing. They were talking a lot and enjoying each other’s company. They didn’t look like [just] friends,” one fellow diner says.
The girl who took the photo that confirms weeks worth of rumors and speculation says the two were “very cute” together, adding simply, “they seemed close.”
As we also reported on previous occasions, despite the rumors and the stories running in most US and international tabloids, both Jake and Taylor have managed thus far to avoid answering questions about whether they’re together or not.
Taylor perhaps came closest to speaking about the romance on an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, when her refusal to answer the questions coming at her at rapid pace hinted that they were actually together.
