Jenna Jameson’s marriage to Tito Ortiz imploded amidst speculation that she was addicted to heavy drugs and alcohol, and it seems that the rumors aren’t going to die down anytime soon: at least not after her most recent appearance on TV.

The former adult star is now promoting her new book “Sugar,” which is a part of a trilogy that, she says, will rival E.L. James’ best-selling “Fifty Shades” trilogy. Seeing that she’s aiming to top the most popular series of novels of recent years, she’s definitely reaching for the stars.

Part of the promo tour for her book was an appearance on Good Day New York.

It’s an understatement to say that it went badly, so it’s best if you just check it out in the video below, embedded at the end of the article.

TMZ reports that the interview was supposed to be a 2-segment chat, but after the first few minutes, the hosts and the producers realized that it wasn’t going anywhere, and they cut it short.

While it lasted, it was almost painful to watch: Jenna slurred, giggled uncontrollably, did not make any sense in her answers, got defensive about her start in the industry and, at one point, actually seemed to doze off.

Meanwhile, the two hosts struggled to keep up appearances and their enthusiasm, failing on both counts.

In April this year, precisely on her birthday, Jenna was arrested for battery. She attacked her victim, who then put her under citizen’s arrest until police arrived on the scene, being presumably under the influence of narcotics at the time.

Before that, her ex-husband Tito Ortiz told the press that she was addicted to Oxycotin and booze, hinting that she would also use other drugs when desperate for her fix. Jameson repeatedly denied the allegations, to little avail.
