I had you there for a while isn't it? If you thought this is too good to be true, you are almost right. TELUS Mobility, Canada's second largest telecommunications company right after Bell Canada, is offering free Samsung A645 phones (for new activations), but at a cost. You will be stuck on their network for three years, of course if you aren't planning to sign a second (or third?) service agreement with another carrier.

The phone sports an internal 128x160 pixel 65k color STN display, an external 96x32 monochrome display, an integrated speakerphone, voice dial and voice memo, integrated voice recognition software, internal antenna, polyphonic ringtone and 1x data calls.

Overall, this is not a pretty fantastic phone, it doesn't have any mind-blowing features, but for the individual that thinks about it on the price and usability side, the A645 is the perfect phone to have, offering a simple and easy to use interface.

If you plan to get it for yourself, prepare to sign that three year service agreement I told you about in the beginning, and take it home with no charge (again, in case this is a new activation).
