Those of you living in the United States and set to purchase a new Android tablet PC from T-Mobile in the next few hours should consider waiting a day longer, as the mobile phone carrier is expected to lower the cost for its only such device at the moment, the Samsung Galaxy Tab.

Apparently, the wireless services provider might have the Android-based tablet PC priced at only $299.99 upon the signing of as two-year contract agreement, which, if true, would make the device quite appealing, that's for sure.

According to a leaked document that emerged over at TmoNews, the carrier would slash $50 off the contract cost of the device starting with January 26th, no later than tomorrow.

Of course, nothing was announced officially on the matter until now, but it seems that there are pretty good chances that things would indeed turn out this way.

T-Mobile is already getting ready to launch two new tablet PCs on its airwaves, namely the LG G-Slate and the Dell Streak 7, and it might be considering making room for them in their warehouse.

Not to mention that Samsung has already announced the launch of a LTE-capable Samsung Galaxy Tab, and that there have been a series of rumors regarding the near release of a Galaxy Tab 2.

Basically, it all points out that things are about to change, and the fact that T-Mobile is set to cut the price tag for the device was somehow expected.

We should also note that another wireless carrier in the United States performed a price cut for its Galaxy Tab model, namely Sprint, which currently sells it for $299.99 with a monthly agreement.

Having the tablet PC cheaper than now would certainly make it more appealing that it already is, though it remains to be seen whether T-Mobile would indeed perform the price cut. All should become official tomorrow, so stay tuned for more info on the matter.
