Wireless carrier T-Mobile is rumored to plan making the new Dell Streak 7 tablet PC available for purchase on its airwaves come February 2nd, after unveiling it officially at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

The Dell Streak 7 builds on the success of the first Dell Streak device, available for purchase in the United States via AT&T.

The new tablet PC comes with a 7-inch touchscreen display, compared to the 5-inch one packed with the original Streak, and with upgraded internals, so that it would provide a better experience to all users.

While the Dell Streak 7 seems to be very appealing, it might easily be overshadowed by the T-Mobile G-Slate, which is expected to become available for purchase on its airwaves in the near future too.

We should also note that this is not the first 7-inch tablet PC that T-Mobile makes available for purchase on its airwaves, as the company launched Samsung's Galaxy Tab several months ago.

According to a recent article on TmoNews, not only would the wireless carrier plan releasing the new Dell Streak 7 on February 2nd, but it might also end the life cycle of Samsung Galaxy Tab at the end of January.

Rumor has it that Samsung and T-Mobile would be considering the launch of a new Galaxy Tab, one that would pack 4G connectivity options.

However, there is no clear indication that the duo has teamed on this, but the arrival of Dell Streak 7 and of the said T-Mobile F-Slate might very well determine the carrier to end the life of the older tablet PC.

The Dell Streak 7 would come with support for the operator's 4G network, thus offering fast connectivity to its customers, and for the Android Market, so that users would be able to download and install applications.

The specs list of Dell Streak 7 also includes the Android 2.2 operating system with full Adobe Flash Player 10.1 support, the 7-inch WVGA touch screen with Gorilla Glass, and a dual core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor.
