Android fans in the UK can already purchase the first tablet PC from Samsung to run under Google's mobile operating system, the Galaxy Tab, and they should soon benefit from more offers in the area. While most wireless carriers in the country added the slate to their offering on November 1st, T-Mobile UK was a little late, and will have it on sale only starting with November 10th.

According to the wireless carrier, the Android tablet PC will become available for its users on a Pay As You Go basis, and should sport a price tag of £529.

Here's what the operator announced via Twitter: “Good news for Android lovers: The Samsung Galaxy Tab will be available on T-Mobile from 10th Nov for £529 on PAYG.”

The Samsung Galaxy Tab was put on the carrier's coming soon page a while ago, with a “Due November 2010” tag attached to it, but it was only now that the specific release date for it was unveiled.

With Galaxy Tab, users will be able to carry around with them all the features and capabilities they love the most in mobile phones, paired with what small portable computers, such as netbooks, have to offer.

“Everything you need in one device: phone, computer, sat nav and MP3 player. It's lightweight with a 7" screen, so you can slip it into your pocket or handbag,” the wireless carrier notes.

Some of the main features of the slate include HSUPA & HSDPA support, Wi-Fi, dual cameras, Bluetooth, microSD memory card slot, and more.

Interestingly enough, T-Mobile UK lists Galaxy Tab as packing a 1.2 Ghz processor, though the official specs for this slate say it is powered by a 1Ghz application processor.

The tablet PC runs under Android 2.2 Froyo, and offers functionalities like voice and video calls, email, text, IM and social networking, as well as a series of entertainment capabilities, including via iPlayer, YouTube and e-Books.

UK users ca head over to T-Mobile's website to register for updates on when Samsung Galaxy Tab will arrive at the wireless carrier.
