Wireless services provider T-Mobile USA has been airing a series of pretty amusing video ads that tout the capabilities of its new 4G network against those of AT&T's, and a new such ad is now available for your viewing pleasure.

The same as with the previous ads, the new video is meant to show that AT&T's network is not capable of offering the needed performance levels that any smartphone would require.

The one to be hit by this is again the Apple iPhone 4, which in the new video, is confined to a WiFi zone for making video calls.

The message is clear. T-Mobile's new 4G network can offer smartphones, including the iPhone or the myTouch 4G, the possibility to perform as they should.

Moreover, the ad also mentions a promotion that T-Mobile's customers can benefit from when it comes to the myTouch 4G handset, namely a Buy One Get One deal, available for those willing to commit to new contract agreements with the carrier.

The T-Mobile 4G network is powered by the HSPA+ technology, and can offer data transfer speeds on par with what LTE or WiMAX can offer.

Recently, the HSPA+ technology was acknowledged as being part of the 4G family of standards, even if it started as an upgrade for the HSPA solution, which is 3G.

T-Mobile has fired up the HSPA+ network earlier this year, and it already has a series of devices available for its customers interested in taking advantage of the technology, including the said myTouch 4G handset, which runs under Google's Android OS.

However, the carrier is not the only one offering 4G connectivity options in the United States. Sprint has been providing customers with 4G services since 2008, while Verizon fired up its LTE network in early December 2010.

Apparently, AT&T is the only one left behind, and T-Mobile is hitting it with its new ads. According to rumors, these videos might also suggest that AT&T's days as the exclusive distributor of Apple iPhone are numbered, though nothing official was unveiled on this for the time being.
