T-Mobile USA keeps a steady pace of great deals for its customers. The latest promotion comprises two popular handsets that are offered for free with new lines of service for a limited time.

Samsung Galaxy S 4G and BlackBerry Bold 9780 (White and Black) are now free through May 8th, with a new contract.

However, both devices included in the promotion are only available for free if they are ordered online from the carrier's website.

Usually, the Galaxy S 4G can be purchased for $179.99 with a new contract, but potential customers who wish to avoid being tied by a long-term agreement must pay $499.99 upfront.

The Galaxy S 4G is T-Mobile's first smartphone capable of reaching theoretical download speeds of up to 21 Mbps.

Although the device offers few upgrades compared to the Vibrant, another Galaxy S family smartphone offered by T-Mobile, the Galaxy S 4G would be a nice addition to any Android fan, especially that the device is now available for free.

Unlike the original Vibrant which lacks a secondary camera, the Galaxy S 4G features a front-facing camera for video-calls.

Both models feature 512 MB RAM, as well as microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB, 16GB card included).

Furthermore, the manufacturer used the same 1GHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor, complemented by a PowerVR SGX540 GPU (graphics processing unit), for both Vibrant and Galaxy S 4G smartphones.

In addition, the Galaxy S 4G offers users the mobile HD TV service through T-Mobile TV, a copy of the Academy Award nominated film Inception, as well as the carrier's Video Chat powered by Qik.

As a side note, T-Mobile USA offers no less than 17 handsets for free with new lines of service, but the Galaxy S 4G and BlackBerry Bold 9780 are only available till Sunday.
