Wireless services provider T-Mobile has just announced the availability of faster 4G services for its customers in a number of 56 additional markets in the United States, offering coverage for a number of more than 170 million people in 152 markets.

With the new network enhancement, T-Mobile users in these areas can enjoy double the data transfer speeds available for them before, along with increased reliability and network capacity.

The full list of markets that now can take advantage of the T-Mobile HSPA+ 42 4G network can be seen at the bottom of this article.

T-Mobile customers can enjoy the improved network performance on a range of compatible devices, so that they stay connected at all times in more areas than before.

The wireless carrier claims that its users will benefit from a far richer experience when it comes to streaming videos on the go, or to surfing social networking sites. All data and information that users need will be accessible fast and easy on the carrier's network.

“America’s Largest 4G Network is now faster than ever and continues to deliver a fast and reliable broadband experience in more places than any other carrier,” said Neville Ray, chief technology officer, T-Mobile USA.

“Video streaming on T-Mobile’s network has more than tripled over the last year, and consumer demand for access to rich mobile content from anywhere continues to grow. T-Mobile is now supplying more than 170 million Americans with lightning-fast HSPA+ 42 speeds to feed that explosive demand.”

As stated above, the wireless carrier also offers a variety of devices that support its HSPA+ network, such as the T-Mobile Rocket 3.0 laptop stick, which can offer download speeds of around 10 Mbps, with peak speeds of 27 Mbps.

Moreover, users can choose to connect to the carrier's network through the smartphones it has in its offer for them, such as the newly released HTC Sensation 4G, or the upcoming T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide.

Over a dozen 4G-capable smartphones, tablets and mobile broadband products were added to T-Mobile's offering during the last year alone. The first HSPA+ 42 smartphone should become available before the end of this year.
