Wireless carrier T-Mobile USA has just put up a teaser site for its first HSPA+ smartphone. The company announced a while ago that it would plan to release this device on its airwaves before the end of the ongoing year, and the emergence of the said website suggests that this might actually happen much sooner than that. Of course, no specific details on the handset's landing were unveiled, but rumor has it that it would be launched before the end of the summer.

“The Revolution Continues,” is what the said teaser web page reads. “Later this year, the first HSPA+ smartphone from T-Mobile will shape the next generation. Yours,” it continues. Basically, the wireless carrier confirms this way the upcoming availability of the device, although the official announcement made a few weeks ago would have sufficed. Another info that can be extracted from the page is that the upcoming handset would sport “a theoretical peak capability of 14.4 Mbps.” Those who are attracted by T-Mobile's first HSPA+ smartphone should head over here to register their interest.

It still remains to be seen what handset would this smartphone actually be, but we can already mention some of the previous rumors on it. According to them, the phone would come from Taiwan-based mobile phone maker HTC Corporation, and would be none other than the previously leaked HTC Vision, which also emerged as the G1 Blaze or Unicorn. As far as rumor goes, the smartphone would run under Google's Android operating system, but no other specs were unveiled for the time being.

The wireless carrier kicked off last year an upgrade process for its network, which resulted in around 50 markets in the US enjoying HSPA+ connectivity and speeds that are on par with those offered by 4G networks. The company also announced that it plans on deploying the technology in more markets before the end of the year, and that it would also offer devices that support the enhanced speeds, including smartphones, laptop sticks and more. It shouldn't be long before the carrier announces more on this handset and on other devices it has in store for its customers, so stay tuned to learn the news.
