Email solutions for the business class

T-Mobile UK has added another product to their portfolio. Targeted at the business class, Nokia E61 offers users a range of email solutions, including Microsoft PushEmail and BlackBerry Connect.

"The introduction of the Nokia E61 supports T-Mobile's mobile email strategy and provides our consumers with a wider choice when it comes to choosing a device which encompasses excellent email and 3G phone capabilities," stated Derek Williamson, Head of Business Marketing, T-Mobile UK.

The device has a QWERTY keyboard for fast data input and a four-way joystick for easy navigation. The 16 million color TFT screen, with a 320 x 240 pixel resolution is well suited for reading email, viewing websites or for watching video clips.

Nokia E61 features the Symbian 9.1 operator system, with the Series 60 user interface. 64 MB of memory are available, as well as a miniSD card slot for memory expansion. For connectivity, the device offers Bluetooth 1.2, Infrared, USB, WLAN and EDGE. Apart from the business features, the PDA also includes entertainment features such as MP3/AAC player and video player.

Nokia E61 is the latest T-Mobile device to offer the CoPilot Live satellite navigation software that gives users advanced route planning capabilities. Other features include instant messaging, voice command/memo, Internet browser, Office applications. The handset has the dimensions 117 x 69.7 x 14 mm, weighs 144 grams and has a Li-Ion battery that gives users about 7 hours of talk time and 260 hours of standby time.
