nova media recently announced that Samsung S8500 Wave owners will be able to use its new synchronization solution FoneSync, to sync their devices with Mac OS X. The software will allow users of the Wave to synchronize contacts, calendar entries or both by a one-button-click.

The application is known to support LG device and few other Samsung models, such as Jet, Pixon and Corby. FoneSync for Samsung phones can easily be set to synchronize separate address groups and/or calendars from any Mac built-in applications including the option to synchronise only contacts which include phone numbers. This way users will avoid filling up memory space with unwanted data.

"The S8500 WAVE is a bestseller and attracts many Mac users," Jan Fuellemann, spokesperson for nova media, said. "It was the missing synchronization of contacts and calendars that prevented a purchase. We deliver the solution."

Here are the main highlights of the application: Synchronise - start the synchronisation of contacts, calendar entries or both with just one click. FoneSync offers a relieable synchronisation engine; Contacts sync settings: Choose, which address groups you would like to synchronize with your phone. In addition, select to synchronize contacts with phone numbers only; Calendars sync settings: Choose, which calendars you would like to synchronize. And select how far back and how far into the future you would like to have calendar entries synchronised, as well.

FoneSync requires Mac OS X 10.5.8 or higher and a Bluetooth enabled computer. The application is available now for 19.90 EUR ($19.95) through nova media's website. There's also a demo version of the application, that lets users try the software before buying it. To get the full version of FoneSync you will need a valid activation key that can be bought from the developer's website.
