The original code adds new character art, 1080p visuals and online play

Oh, this is a good time to be a gamer (and have loads of free time to actually play too). Even though there are a bunch of fresh demos and trials to be downloaded right here on our website, (Hellgate: London, Guitar Hero III and Luxor 3) this fact sheet for Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix is sure to make every hardcore gamer's delight.

One of the most popular games of the early '90s is reborn! Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, originally developed by Capcom for the arcade, makes its downloadable debut on the Xbox LIVE Arcade and PLAYSTATION Network, says Capcom.

The Japanese developer has confirmed that they've stayed true to the foundation of the popular fighting game, using the original code upon which they've created a fresh upgraded experience with new character art, high resolution 1080p visuals and online play. All of the art has been completely redrawn and created in conjunction with the artists at UDON Comics, an official report reads, which currently publishes the official Street Fighter comic and is responsible for the new contemporary look of the Street Fighter franchise.

Time for some features. Capcom has confirmed the following:

All 17 of the original Super Street Fighter II Turbo characters including Ryu, Guile, M. Bison and Akuma

One to two players head-to-head play either offline or online

- Single player vs. CPU - Player vs. player over the same console - Player vs. player online

Widescreen support with option to select classic 4:3 mode for SF purists

Below, you have eight pieces of character art featuring revamped characters Akuma, Guile, T. Hawk and Ken. Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix is set for launch this fall for the Xbox 360 and PS3 via their respective Internet services, Xbox Live and PlayStation Network.
