SuiteLinq, a well-known provider of digital content, commerce and connectivity solutions, has just announced the availability of its mobile application developed specifically for Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 platform

According to SuiteLinq, the application extends the functionality of the SuiteLinq Digital Host into the hands of hotel guests.

The application features interactive hotel information, room service ordering, property way-finding, as well as human or data-triggered alerts.

[admark=1]It appears that SuiteLinq was especially developed to help hoteliers connect to possible customers who are on the go or on site, as well as inform and engage in commerce with them.

Our clients are increasingly in demand for solutions that reach their guests in a meaningful way on their personal mobile devices. Specifically, they are embracing the need to engage in a two-way dialogue with their guests when they are on the way to the property and during their stay, opening the door to all kinds of service enhancement and revenue generation opportunities,” said SuiteLinq’s CEO, Joseph Mustilli.

SuiteLinq for Windows Phone 7 application allows a guest on the golf course to order room service for later and bill the charge to their room.

Furthermore, hotel staff can message the guest with data-driven and customizable communications and inform him about different changes that have been made since the guest's last visit.

Putting such functionality in the palms of guests’ hands is a significant service enhancement, but being able to integrate those same interactions across the array of digital devices that we provide is unprecedented. With anchored SuiteLinq devices in the guestroom and public areas, we’ve turned our focus to the mobile segment as an appropriate and valuable complement to our product portfolio,” concluded Mustilli.

On related news, SuiteLinq Mobile was originally launched for iPhone and BlackBerry, but the company decided to give Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 application a go, thus extending its services portfolio.
