14 DAY TRIAL // Lindsay Lohan is poised to make her comeback to film with Lifetime's biopic “Liz & Dick,” which focuses on the love story between Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. She's been having a hard time coping with pressure, says a new report.
Even though celebrity bloggers are mostly wagering her comeback will be a bust, Lindsay is really taking this new gig very seriously.
After several failed attempts, she knows this will probably be her final shot at proving the world that she is an actress before a celebrity – and a controversial one while at it.
Lindsay is handling the pressure that comes with the job by chain smoking about 2 packs a day, a source says for the latest issue of Us Magazine.
“When the director yells cut, Lindsay Lohan takes a puff! Lohan, 25, has been hard at work on her new Lifetime movie, Liz & Dick, and the stress may be getting to her. A source tell Us Weekly the actress is smoking two packs of cigarettes a day on the set,” the celebrity publication writes.
Lindsay has been a regular smoker for years and only tried to quit on a couple of occasions, which, obviously, turned out unsuccessful.
“Literally every time she finishes a scene she lights up another cigarette. You can hear the crew saying, 'That’s cut – get a cigarette for Lindsay',” an on-set source confirms for Us.
Other than that, Lindsay is doing well, the insider goes on to say: regardless of what online reports are saying, she truly is determined to make an impression and get her acting career back on track.
“In between takes she would sit on the director’s chair puffing on her cigarettes. Lindsay has been working hard, but without the nicotine she probably could not make it through as she appears stressed at times and they do seem to calm her down,” the spy explains.
Reports online suggest that Lindsay is anything but “fine,” considering that, since the film went into production, she's been involved in a serious car crash and might have lied to cops about it, and passed out in her hotel room, requiring a visit from the paramedics.
There's also talk about how she's been hitting the clubs in between days on set, which, if true, would explain why she lost consciousness because of “exhaustion.”
