If you ever wanted a dock for your MacBook Air, this is your chance to act as a project that wants to do just that has put up a pledge on Kickstarter to help its raise the $50,000 it needs to begin production of the LandingZone.

The startup has built two such prototypes and expects the final device to retail for around $200 (150 EUR), but right now can be purchased with a $159 (119 EUR) pledge.

The device is actually as simple as it gets and attaches to the ports on both sides of the MBA to provide a full range of ports to the ultra-thin, including a 10/100 Ethernet port and a Kensington-compatible lock.

The list is completed by four USB 2.0 ports, a mini-DisplayPort and support for both 11 and 13 inch MBAs (2010 or later), so almost no one is left out.
