Blizzard is working hard to develop these two masterpieces

Blizzard has some pretty exciting project for us, but there's just a small problem about them: we have no idea when we're going to get our hands on these exciting projects. We wanted Starcraft II, we got it - no release date, though. We wanted Diablo III, we got it - no release date, though. And the same thing can be repeated over and over again for every project announced by Blizzard and still in the works (such as the brand new MMO the company is working on).

However, during a financial call in an Activision Blizzard meeting, Blizzard's president Mike Morhaime wanted to make one thing clear: even though the release dates are not set (and there is probably quite a while of waiting for us to do), the company is focusing heavily on developing the upcoming titles.

"We do not currently have a release date for either StarCraft II or Diablo III, but we can say that they are heavily in development on both games and we are committed to making sure these games meet and exceed the high expectations of our players," he said.

That sounds great for all the fans in the world - something to exceed our expectations is something we'll never say no to. However, we're still wondering if Mike Morhaime referred to the WoW-like, colorful graphics in Diablo III, too. Because that is something we don't want!

During the same call, Blizzard's president said, "The original Diablo has been widely credited with helping to revitalize the role-playing game genre. Combined, previous games in the series have sold over 18.5 million copies worldwide. As with StarCraft II, Diablo III will benefit greatly from our revamped online game service, Battle Net, since the focus will be on cooperative online play."

And now we wait. There's nothing else we can do anyway.
