Once again, the world needs you to save it!

Some people who worked on Ratchet and Clank and Resistance: Fall of Man (or Insomniac Games and High Impact) decided to team up and create a new and cool studio, named Bionic Games. Then, they teamed up with Capcom and started the production of their first title, Spyborgs, promising that it would be just like a Saturday morning cartoon exploding to life. And it will explode exclusively on the Nintendo Wii console, because that's the only place where cartoons brought to life are fit (have you heard this, Prince of Persia?)

As the name suggests, the players will control a team of five super spies who are trying to... (take a deep breath) save the world! Spyborgs will also try to give a new definition to the term "team play", bringing tons of fun to the co-op play - or at least, that's what the developers promise. However, if you still prefer single player, you will be allowed to do that too and, even more, to jump and control any other spy whenever you see fit.

"Our goal is to maximize the potential of the innovative Wii Remote while delivering a new paradigm in cooperative game play," said Michael Haller, president, Bionic Games, "We also wanted to bring a lot of humor to the game which we feel we have accomplished. This game will make you laugh - for all the right reasons."

This time, we don't exactly know how the wacky villains plan to take over the world (or destroy it, or whatever they plan to do), but we do know that our team doesn't seem to be too sane, either. However, our characters will have all sorts of super powers, like heavy firepower, martial arts, bladed weaponry, acrobatic skateboarding skills or pure robotic destruction. Spyborgs is set to be released early in 2009.
