Tomorrow is set to be a great day for wireless carrier Sprint, as the company plans the release of a number of no less than three new handsets running under Google's Android operating system, namely the Nexus S 4G by Samsung, the Samsung Replenish, and the Motorola XOOM tablet PC.

The Nexus S 4G is one of the nicest mobile phones that Sprint customers would have the opportunity to purchase from their wireless carrier.

This is the second Google phone launched on the market, following the release of Nexus One by HTC in early 2010, a device that arrived on shelves only in GSM flavors.

Nexus S, however, got a CDMA flavor as well, along with support for WiMAX, which makes it fit for Sprint's 4G services, already available in a great deal of markets around the United States.

Starting tomorrow, Sprint customers would have the possibility to purchase the new device for $199.99 upon the signing of a two-year contract agreement with the wireless carrier.

“Existing customers in good standing with service on the same device for more than 22 consecutive months currently activated on a service plan of $39.99 or higher may be eligible,” the wireless carrier notes on the special web page it put up for this device.

A second Android-based mobile phone from Samsung set to be released at Sprint tomorrow is the Replenish, yet another eco-friendly handset the wireless carrier adds to its offering. It would cost only $49.99.

This is the first environmentally friendly Android handset at Sprint. Based on the 2.2 Froyo OS flavor, it also comes with a Sprint IS Green Pack, and is partially made out of bio-plastics, while being wrapped in eco-friendly packaging.

And there is also the Motorola XOOM, which would arrive at the wireless carrier only with WiFi connectivity options, but capable of offering a great experience to all of Sprint's users. The tablet PC, running under Google's Android 3.0 Honeycomb operating system, was already made available for purchase in the United States on the airwaves of Verizon, and should bring its 10.1-inch display and the dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 power to Sprint's users as well starting tomorrow.
