Sprint has yet to officially announce its handset lineup for the fourth quarter, but some specification sheets have been leaked to offer a hint on what people should expect. The list looks quite impressive, featuring HTC Touch, LG Rumor, BlackBerry 8130 and Palm Centro, some of the most evolved smartphones out there.

HTC Touch will come in its CDMA version under the name of HTC Vogue. The phone has been considered a potential iPhone killer in some areas, but it is left to see how much damage it can do to Apple's phone, now that it expands on the US market. The handset runs on Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional and uses the famous Touch FLO interface that HTC has decided to include in its future devices too. Other specifications include a 201Mhz processor, 2.8 inch screen, Bluetooth 2.0, WiFi, microSD slot and a 2 megapixel camera.

LG Rumor is a less evolved smartphone, not capable of supporting Windows Mobile 6. The phone packs a full QWERTY keypad for easily introducing large texts. The phone is not 3G enabled, but includes Bluetooth connectivity, a music player, microSD card slot and a 1.3 megapixel camera.

BlackBerry Pearl 2 (8130) will also bring a 2 megapixel camera and microSD slot. Moreover, it will also have Bluetooth with A2DP connectivity and support for Sprint TV. One of the most impressive features about it is that it also packs GPS performances, as many evolved devices now do.

Last, but not least, Palm Centro is the device that many people have expected to see released by its producer. The phone packs a 1.3 megapixel camera and can also support Sprint's TV service. The device also brings instant messaging, email and an evolved music player, along with a full QWERTY keypad.

All these smartphones should arrive at Sprint until the end of this year, if rumors prove to be true.
