Sprint operator just announced that its NextMail service is now available to all Sprint devices, including the new HTC EVO 4G. Powered by Pacific DataVision, one of the leaders in wireless dictation and documentation services, the service allows mobile professionals to send a recorded voice message to up to 50 e-mail addresses instantaneously.

Another option available for user includes the possibility to send the voice message via text message to up to 50 mobile devices and receive a “Listen to” notification. Further, NextMail Professional (previously known as NextMail Locator), the improved premium service, offers users the ability to include location information and pictures with a NextMail message.

In today’s business climate, companies need solutions that improve productivity, increase profitability and enhance customer satisfaction,” said Tom Roberts, vice president of Business Marketing, Sprint. “Historically available only on Nextel devices as an extension of Nextel Direct Connect, NextMail is an ideal solution for companies with highly mobile workers. Industries like construction, field services, distribution and many public sector entities will find NextMail to be a critical business tool to communicate with many people instantly, especially in places where typing isn’t convenient, and to document thorough and accurate information.”

The service seems to be a quick and simple way to share information from one user to his friends and colleagues, without the need for handwritten notes or thumb-typing on small keypads. Moreover, the service's features enable recipients to respond by voice to a voice, text or e-mail message, thus allowing fast two-way communication.

NextMail’s Intelligent Queuing provides businesses a valuable triage tool for their field workers, finally allowing dispatchers and call center operators to quickly prioritize inbound voice communication from the field,” said John Pescatore, CEO of Pacific DataVision Inc. “This allows for a significant reduction in unproductive hold time, which results in increased productivity and revenue.”

NextMail is available for $7.50 per month per user and NextMail Professional is $19.99 per month per user.
