Sprint's own flavor of Galaxy S II will land on shelves this week

One of the Android-based mobile phones that should arrive on shelves at Sprint soon is the Epic 4G Touch, none other that the wireless carrier's own flavor of Samsung Galaxy S II.

The handset is set to hit the shelves at Sprint no later than Friday, September 16th, yet its user manual was already made available for download.

Those users who would like to purchase a new device from Sprint but cannot decide on the phone to choose should have a look at the said user manual to learn more on the Epic 4G Touch and see whether it could be the handset of choice for them.

The user manual is available for download from Sprint's website here in the form of a PDF file.

The mobile phone runs under Google's Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, sports a large 4.5-inch touchscreen display, as well as a fast 1.2Ghz dual-core application processor inside.

On the back, the new mobile phone packs an 8-megapixel photo snapper with support for full HD video recording, complemented by a 2MP camera on the front, with support for video calling.

It also includes 3G/4G Hotspot Capabilities, DLNA, 16GB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space, GPS receiver, 3.5mm headphone jack, and the like.

The handset was already made available for pre-order via Sprint partner retailers, and can be reserved for only $99 via Walmart, the cheapest offering on it for the time being.
