14 DAY TRIAL // Wireless carrier Sprint has launched on its airwaves a new mobile phone at a rather affordable price tag, the Samsung M240, along with a series of new eco-friendly accessories that includes chargers and device cases. According to the company, its line of “green” phone accessories is growing, and users will be able to enjoy the dedicated green sections at its retail locations, as well as online, via its website.
The Samsung M240 comes to the carrier's offering as a flip phone that sports large keys, two displays, messaging capabilities, speakerphone and voice dialing. At the same time, the device sports web browsing capabilities, measures 1.85 x 3.6 x 0.74 inches, weighs in at 3.0 oz and includes a 960 mAh Li-Ion battery that can deliver up to 6.5 hours of continuous talk time. The device is priced at $19.99 upon the signing of a two-year contract agreement with the carrier, and can be seen here.
The new eco-friendly products Sprint announced for its users include a cell-phone charger, All-In-One Vehicle and Wall Charger. The new product has been added to an offering that already included the SOLIO solar-powered charger and an inline USB port so that two handsets can be charged at the same time. Available for only $39.99 from Sprint, the charger operates within Energy Star guidelines. In addition, the carrier also plans on launching a new SOLIO solar-powered charger in October, so that users have even more options to choose from.

Along with the new charger, Sprint also announced Eco-Friendly Universal Cases built from sustainable materials, cotton and linen. The new cases are recyclable and can be used with almost all handsets available in Sprint's offering. They are available in two sizes, priced at $19.99 each.
