This fall, another CDMA carrier in the United States should make the Apple iPhone available for its customers, namely Sprint, and the move seems to have been confirmed via an internal memory from the company.

It has been long rumored that Sprint too will receive the new iPhone 5 from Apple, but no solid proof of that emerged until now.

With Verizon already having the iPhone available on its network, and with various rumors regarding the release of an iPhone model with global connectivity capabilities, it was only a matter of time before confirmation on the release of Apple's iconic device at Sprint emerged.

And so it apparently did, via an internal memo from the wireless carrier, which has just leaked into the wild courtesy of SprintFeed.

In the said document, Sprint instructs its employees to say that they have nothing to comment on the availability of iPhone on Sprint's network.

“If you're asked by a customer or just talking to friends or family members, you need to avoid making any comment about the iPhone and simple [sic] state ‘no comment’,” the internal memo reads.

Moreover, employees are instructed to say that they might have learned of rumors regarding the release of iPhone 5 at Sprint, but that there is no information they could share.

“If you are asked a direct question by a customer about Sprint getting the iPhone, you can simply say: 'Yes, I saw a few of those reports, I don't have any information to share',” the memo continues.

The first question that comes to our mind is why would Sprint instruct employees not to comment on the iPhone 5 launch if there was no launch to comment on.

Clearly, the wireless carrier has already shared its plans to launch the new iPhone model with some of its employees, but it does not yet have green light to confirm it to the world.

However, it should not be too long before the official announcement on the matter is made, provided that Sprint is indeed set to launch the iPhone 5 this fall, so stay tuned for more.
