On Monday, wireless carrier Sprint announced support of Tango Networks’ Mobile UC solution, Abrazo, meant to bring enhancements to its Mobile Integration solution. According to the carrier, this will also result in offering its business users the possibility to leverage the productivity and cost benefits of wireless mobility, IP telephony and unified communications.

The operator also revealed that it could offer its users the possibility to fully integrate their Sprint CDMA phones with a unified communications environment through the Mobile Integration solution. PBX solutions that can benefit from Sprint Mobile Integration include Cisco Unified Communications Manager and Avaya Communications Manager, as well as Tango Networks’ Abrazo, the company notes.

Among the benefits that Sprint's solution offers, we can count : - Significantly enhanced employee productivity and call management by tightly integrating mobility into existing and new IP PBX and unified communications deployments. - Easy-to-use capabilities, such as single number, single voice mail, and a common dialing plan. - Reduction in total expenses to support end users by eliminating many of the costs incurred with traditional FMC solutions and potentially eliminating underused desk phones.

Sprint makes the Mobile Integration solution available via its Business Markets Group (BMG), which is in charge with sales, support, marketing and operations personnel aimed only at enterprise, public sector customers and small and medium-sized business. BMG offers wireless, wireline and converged solutions all around the country on the company's 3G mobile broadband network, along with 4G capabilities that no other rival company offers. We are confident that our collaboration will help achieve these goals while enhancing our customers’ overall communications experience.”
