Along with introducing the Samsung UpStage, US carrier Sprint is also announcing several improvements to its music services. Starting next week, Sprint Music Store users (with any of the Sprint Power Vision data plans) will be able to download from 1.5 million tracks, for 99 cents each.

Moreover, Sprint will be offering two new Power Vision data plans that are especially conceived for music. The new Power Vision Access Pack, available for $15 will include 10 commercial-free radio channels from Sprint Radio powered by mSpot, exclusive video programming from Spring Power View including a weekly top-song countdown, breaking music news, tour information, artist interviews and performances and songs at 99 cents each from the Sprint Music Store.

In addition to the Power Vision Access Pack, for a $5 extra ($20 in total), the Power Vision Music Pack adds another 40 channels of commercial-free radio channels, a channel from Sprint TV that features music videos powered by MobiTV including hip-hop, rock and alternative as well as flashbacks from the 80s and 90s and of course track download at 99 cents each from the Sprint Music Store.

Both of the data plans will become available on Sprint starting early April this year and will also include unlimited data usage for non-music applications like web browsing, Picture Mail and mobile email. During CTIA Sprint also announced Pivot, the new name for their quad-play service that includes wireless, voice, broadband and cable TV in a single package. The service is currently available in eight cities and will be launched in 40 others throughout this year.
