Entry level music phone

One more mobile phone from Spice has just been introduced to play Indian music at best quality from now on. The S-7 handset is low end, but this could turn out as being just one more reason for it to reach high-sale figures.

Spice S-7 is part of the producer's Music Spice Series and comes with the main talent of rendering sounds at a high quality. There is nothing more for it to pride with, other than playing music at a high quality, as its 1.3 megapixel camera goes nowhere near the performances of a camera phone, although it does have Flash, as to improve the captures' quality.

The 2-inch 262k color screen is also nothing special and will fail to display impressive videos and captures. It is also capable of running Java applications, a feature that more evolved mobile phones don't even consider as being anything out of the ordinary. Moreover, it also includes a phonebook and SMS capability of 500 each.

Spice S-7 also supports Data transfers, Voice and Wireless Music (A2DP). Moreover, it also brings unlimited video recording along with video and photo caller ID. What should make it capable of withstanding the competition of other music phones or even MP3 players is the memory, expandable up to 1GB through a T-flash card. That's a great feature, although it is not included in the phone's selling price and triggers an additional expense.

Spice S-7 is available from now on in India, for the price of Rs. 7,000 (about USD 180). For all those who choose to purchase this mobile phone, the producer also offers a set of Mono Bluetooth headset worth Rs 1,800 (about USD45) for free. Sounds like a great deal, especially as such an accessory is essential with a music phone.
