The CP+ show in Yokohama, Japan is just around the corner and rumors have already started to appear regarding the possible cameras that will be announced at this year's second important imaging show.

Among other manufacturers, Sony is rumored to announce the NEX-7 successor (A7000) that will become its flagship E-mount APS-C interchangeable lens camera.

According to PhotographyBlog, the company confirmed that it was preparing to announce new mirrorless camera models at the CP+ show in February as well as during the Photokina event later this year.

In addition to that, company representatives revealed that Sony would also introduce a new ultra-zoom bridge camera with a faster image processor that will allow you to use burst shooting mode continuously until the memory card is filled, without having to wait for the camera to store the captured images. This sounds interesting, but surely the camera won't have a high frame rate.

With this new model, Sony aims to bring faster shooting speeds on all its digital cameras that will be released this year and to also improve the actual auto-focusing mechanism to make it even faster.

Besides that, the company also said that its Cyber-shot QX10 lens-style cameras had sold out during the Holiday Season promotions and, for the moment, the attention was focused on doing the same with the more expensive QX100 model. Thanks to these sales results, Sony plans to bring a second generation of lens-style cameras in the near future.

Furthermore, previous rumors state that the Nippon manufacturer will announce its new A77 A-mount successor in spring, with a ship date set to June. The new model will not be only an incremental update, but it will feature brand new technologies, including PDAF (Phase-Detection Autofocus).

No other information has been disclosed for the moment, but expect to hear more as the CP+ show gets closer.
