14 DAY TRIAL // Google TV seems to get one hit after the other as after Logitech announced it plans to discontinue the Revue, now the company's other launch partner for this platform came out to say that it plans to create its own Smart TV competitor for Google's solution.
Sony has reached this decision after it has become dissatisfied with the sales of its own Google TV-powered solutions, that have failed to meet sales expectations ever since their launch in October of last year.
Sony hasn't revealed any additional info about its upcoming Smart TV platform, but this is said to be competing with the Apple TV witch has been rumored lately.
According to Uber Gizmo, the chances that Sony will go with an Android-powered solution are extremely thin, but who knows maybe we are in for a surprise.
No matter how you look at it however, Google TV seems to be going down, and I don't think that anyone or anything can stop it from disappearing completely from the market.
