Japanese-Swedish mobile phone maker Sony Ericsson unveiled to the world not too long ago its first handset that will arrive on the market with Google's Android operating system on board, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10, a quite appealing device that should be launched in early 2010, according to reports. However, until users actually have the opportunity to snag the beauty and place it in their pockets, they can also take a look at how the device looks on the inside.

The guys over at mydrivers have just published a large gallery of images with Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 torn to pieces, bringing to light that speedy Qualcomm 1GHz Snapdragon processor that powers the Android device. The unit that got dissected was only a prototype, but it certainly had all the pieces of the final version inside. You can take a look at some of the images at the bottom of this article, or you can head over to the entire gallery here.

In the meantime, we should mention some of the handset's specifications, in case there are some who might not remember them. A 4-inch capacitive touchscreen display that delivers a 480 x 854 pixel resolution (WVGA) is part of the equation, as well as an 8.1-megapixel photo snapper with auto focus, video recording and geo-tagging. X10 comes to the market with 1 GB of internal memory, microSD memory card slot, 3.5 mm audio jack, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and micro-USB connectivity, is 119 x 63 x 13 mm in size and weighs 135 grams.

Running under the Android 1.6 version of Google's operating system, the Xperia X10 does not feature a physical keyboard, though it includes support for a great deal of services, as well as great connectivity options. As stated above, it is expected to land on shelves in early 2010, meaning that either January or February are the lucky months. Moreover, it is rumored to arrive in the US in the time frame, carried on the market by T-Mobile USA.
