Business email will be considerably easier to manage with Sony Ericsson's two new releases: the K850 and W910 model. Even if one is a Cyber-shot phone and the other a Walkman one, they both have been introduced as being best for providing instant access to email messages, no matter where the user might be.

These two phone models have been released as part of a major launch which took place in Berlin on the 14th of June. They both draw the attention of corporate users who need efficient email services at all times. For this, they include support for Java push mail solutions provided by third parties and frequently used email standards, such as POP/IMAP.

Both Sony Ericsson K850 and W910 include a remote device-wipe feature which proves extremely useful especially when the mobile phone is stolen or lost. This allows the user to erase all information from their handset, including email, calendar, contacts and account settings.

"Organizations today require a secure, wireless solution for their mobile worker that is easy to manage and supports a variety of devices," said Adam Glick, Technical Product Manager for Microsoft Exchange Server. Having this in mind, Sony Ericsson brings them several solutions with these two new cellulars. "Sony Ericsson's latest devices can connect directly to a Microsoft Exchange Server using Exchange ActiveSync?, allowing their users to access the powerful business messaging and productivity information stored in Exchange".

With the release of these two new handsets, Sony Ericsson brings a wider range of flexibility for their users. By using business hours more efficiently, internal support costs for local PC-sync are reduced.

Sony Ericsson K850 Cyber-shot will be out on the market towards the end of the year, while the W910 has high chances of being available sometime sooner, in the third quarter of this year.
