The new device should start shipping next month

It seems that some pictures of Sony Ericsson C510, also known as Kate, a handset reported to be the successor of the Sony Ericsson K770, have emerged to the web, on DailyMobile. According to the news story, the mobile phone is slated to start shipping in February this year.

Thus, the Sony Ericsson C510 should feature a 3.2 MP AF camera and LED and active lens cover along with Cyber-shot UI 2.0. The camera, stated to sport face detection, which goes along with smile shutter and auto rotation when viewing, is complemented by QVGA video and a 2.2” QVGA display.

The new Sony Ericsson C510 comes with a 160 MB built-in memory, yet there is no information on memory card support. Other specifications include picture light, photo fix, illuminated imaging shortcut keys, as well as illumination by different theme/mode. Moreover, the new device also comes with direct blog shortcut key, dedicated shutter key, print service Snapfish and blue illuminated imaging shortcuts.
