Mobile phone users in the UK will now be able to acquire a new affordable handset from the mobile carrier Orange, namely the Sony Ericsson C510, a Cybershot model that was unveiled to the world at the beginning of the year.

Although this is an affordable cameraphone, targeted at those users on a budget who wouldn't be able to go for the high-specification camera handsets released lately, the new Sony Ericsson C510 sports a 3.2-megapixel photo snapper that also includes some exciting image capture features, like auto focus, digital zooming, Smile Shutter, face detection, LED flash and auto rotation when viewing, as well as photo light, geo tagging, picture blogging, video light, photo feeds and video recording.

The camera features of the Sony Ericsson C510 also include shortcut key for accessing the camera, allowing users to take pictures almost instantly. Moreover, the photo fix functionality the handset has been packed with will enable users to remove any faults from a captured image.

At the same time, the device also includes a compact and sleek design, like all Cybershot handsets from Sony Ericsson do. The device comes with a 2.2-inch QVGA display, as well as Bluetooth connectivity for easy transfer of photo, video or music files, support for Google Maps, video calling support, USB mass storage, and Netfront Navigator web browser with support for RSS feeds.

This candybar mobile phone does not look fitted only to imagery enthusiasts, but to business men as well, through the connectivity options it offers. Music enthusiasts haven't been left out either, and there will be a media player with mega bass, Bluetooth stereo, TrackID function, playnow and Album Art features for them to enjoy. At the same time, the device also sports FM radio with RDS, and other features like video streaming, video viewing, motion gaming, 3D gaming and YouTube.

The new Sony Ericsson C510 is available in the UK on Orange with a contract, but it is also expected to come to other carriers in the near future, as well as for the Pay As You Go service sometime soon.
