14 DAY TRIAL // After shipping the first Sony A7 and A7R cameras in Korea, the world's first full frame interchangeable lens-type camera is now available in Japan through the local Amazon store.
The new A7 and A7R camera bodies are priced at ¥134,820 / $1,345 / €996 and ¥197,500 / $1,970 / €1,460, respectively. That's more than $300 / €222 cheaper than the listing price in the US and $700 / €518 less than the European listing price.
At the same time, the Sony A7 zoom lens kit that comes with the FE 28-70mm F3.5-5.6 OSS lens is priced at ¥162,000 / $1,616 / €1,197.
According to Sony Alpha Rumors, a Sony Store in Hong Kong has already received a large batch of A7 and A7R cameras to meet all pre-order demands.
As previously reported, Sony has well surpassed the estimated pre-order quantity with over 200%, which is three times more cameras than they expected.
