Sony has recently announced world's first full frame mirrorless cameras, the A7 and A7R, and it seems everyone wants to get one. On November 13 the first worldwide store to sell the new Sony cameras opened its doors in Korea and, as we saw, a large crowd was waiting outside for a chance to buy one.

According to SonyAlphaRumors, it seems that pre-order quantities have well surpassed the initial pre-launch estimations with over 200%, which means that Sony already sold three times as more cameras as they expected.

This is very good news for the Japanese manufacturer who was the first to release a full frame interchangeable lens-type camera on the market, comparable in terms of image quality with popular digital SLRs like Nikon D800 and D800E.

Most Sony A7/A7R reviews are positive, but the camera seems to have some issues regarding AF performance. Have you already pre-ordered your Sony A7/A7R? Let us know in the comments below.
