Snoop Dogg, just like 50 Cent before him, knows a good business opportunity when he sees one. Since unlikely musical pairings are known to make smashing hits, the rapper has given the idea of singing with Susan Boyle a thought, and, understandably, he’d be thrilled if it were ever to happen, The Sun informs.

Speaking with the British tab, the rapper, who has just recently been allowed back in the UK again, says recording and releasing a song with SuBo would be a wonderful opportunity, to state the obvious. Moreover, he’s certain that, despite the fact that they have completely opposite sounds, they would still come out with something amazing. Both of them are accomplished and talented artists, which is why he’s sure a collaboration couldn’t possibly go wrong.

“She’s a great artist. I’m looking forward to going into the studio with her. Why not? We’re going to get our minds together and figure out what we’re going to sing about. I’m down with that. There isn’t much I can’t do,” Snoop tells The Sun without false modesty. As we also reported a while back, 50 Cent was saying almost the same thing, even using the opportunity to let the Scottish singer know he’d be more than thrilled if she accepted his offer for a duet.

However, Snoop has more to say than Fiddy. While on the topic of plans for the future, the rapper also says that he’d see himself as a good judge on American Idol, once Simon Cowell leaves. “I think I would be perfect. I understand the dynamics of music and see stars before they are made,” Snoop explains. Last time he formulated any ideas about how he’d see his involvement in television, he wanted – more or less jokingly – to take Oprah Winfrey’s spot on The Oprah Show so, if anything, this is one rapper that gives meaning to the “shooting for the stars” saying.

So far, neither Susan Boyle nor her management has said anything about the two offers coming from the heavyweight rappers. On the downside, chances of these collaborations ever taking place are not looking that good, word in the blogosphere says.
