14 DAY TRIAL // Snooki of MTV’s “Jersey Shore” is pregnant with her first child. Official confirmation is still pending, but word online has it that, ever since she learned she’s going to be a mommy, she’s decided to turn her life around.
Even more, Snooki is determined to run for the title of “mother of the year,” TMZ informs, cleaning up her act for good and emerging as a responsible adult.
Those not familiar with the MTV reality show should probably know that, until not long ago, Snooki was never a model of good behavior, having often bragged about her drinking abilities, as well as the things she’d be willing to do when intoxicated.
All that will soon be history, sources close to her say for the celebrity e-zine.
Now that she knows she will be a mother soon, Snooki has made the very responsible decision to change her life for the better.
“Snooki is in the midst of a MAJOR transformation, from a sloppy, smooshy drunken idiot to a RESPONSIBLE mom-to-be who's taking her pregnancy very seriously, TMZ has learned,” the e-zine reports.
“Sources close to the MTV star tell us, ever since Snooki discovered she was with child she quit drinking, quit [sleeping] around and has convinced the people around her that she could develop into ‘mother of the year’,” the same publication writes.
The change seems to have been brought on by the fact that Snooki is very close to her own mother, therefore, she knows what it takes to be a responsible mom, TMZ says.
As it happens, the change also fits in just perfectly with the major storyline of her new reality show, which is a “Jersey Shore” spinoff with good friend JWoww.
“The timing of Snooki's pregnancy couldn't have worked out better 'cause we're told the premise of her upcoming ‘Jersey Shore’ spin-off reality show with Jwoww is ‘the last hurrah’,” TMZ notes.
“Sources connected to the production tell us the show will follow the girls as they transition into adulthood, move into an adult apartment and take some serious adult steps with their boyfriends. The boyfriends will not have starring roles on the show, but the relationships will be ‘key’,” says the e-zine.
It also claims that, for the time being, Snooki has no intention of marrying her boyfriend, who is also the father of her child.
