There's no denying the fact that if you are on the lookout for a premium pair of headphones you have more than a fair share of solutions to check out, but no matter how hard one searches it definitely won't come across something more impressive than Sleek Audio's SA7, at least when it comes down to durability as these are really one mean pair of earphones.

In case you are wondering what makes them so special, you must know that Sleek Audio though of the most over the top situations one can find itself into, the SA7 featuring military-grade materials, the drivers coming enclosed in a layer of silicone, further protected by carbon fiber sidings and held together with a titanium hexagonal fastener.

As a result the SA7 can resist anything that you can throw at them, Sleek Audio stating these can survive one cycle in the washing machine, and although that isn't something that I would try for myself, is definitely nice to know that forgetting these in your pocket won't end up as the worst $300 (or whatever these may end up being priced at) you ever spent.

But the impressive built quality is just one aspect of the SA7 since these also promise to deliver “striking clarity with brilliant highs, strong mids and accurate, powerful bass” thanks to its patented VQ Tuning system that allows its users to acoustically tune their music to match their individual sonic preference.

Add to that the ESC (Environmental Sound Control) noise control technology and you know the SA7 should feature a pretty impressive sound quality.

But the best part, at least for me, is the Wireless Hybrid Technology that allows you to go from weird to wireless by simply removing the wires.

Unfortunately, there's no word on pricing or availability just yet, although Sleek Audio says the SA7 should be launched until year's end.

However, judging by how much the SA6 cost these should be priced somewhere around the $300 mark. (via Slashgear)
