14 DAY TRIAL // “Blade Runner” Oscar Pistorius shot and killed his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp thinking she was a robber trying to break in. Instead, she was just looking to surprise him for Valentine’s Day.
As we already noted earlier today, Pistorius has been charged with murder. The theory that he mistook Reeva for a robber and shot her is bringing increased attention to her Twitter page.
Just shortly before she was killed, she was gushing about Valentine’s Day.
“What do you have up your sleeve for your love tomorrow??? #getexcited #ValentinesDay,” she wrote.
To one of her followers, she responded, “That sounds amazing! Wow that's what it's all about! It should be a day of love for everyone :) may it be blessed!”
Steenkamp was a law graduate, model and reality star. Reports say Pistorius shot her once in the head and once in the arm, in self-defense but, for the time being, further details are not available.
