Lenovo is really not joking around when rolling out new additions to its ThinkPad laptop line, because they've just outed no less than six new models, pertaining to the T, L and W series.

All of the new ThinkPad models released by Lenovo (namely T420s, T420, T520, L420, L520 and W520) target specifically the enterprise environment, and for this reason, they come equipped with all sorts of advanced features and functions designed to cater to the needs of businessmen that are on the go almost all of the time.

The new notebooks from Lenovo are built around 2nd generation Intel Core and Core vPro processors, and offer enterprise users plenty of advanced security features, including here remote management support for the built-in HDDs, as well as a fingerprint reader and Intel Anti-Theft Technology.

Moreover, they also offer some interesting multimedia features, such as advanced video and voice conferencing capabilities via the Private Chat and Conference Call microphone modes, plus keyboard noise suppression technology, that removes the often distracting sound of keys being pressed during voice conversations.

And since we're on the topic of multimedia, it's also interesting to note that the ThinkPad T420s offers Dolby Home Theater v4 with virtualized surround sound, a feature not encountered in the case of other enterprise-oriented portable computing systems.

Another very important detail worth mentioning is related to the batteries powering the new Lenovo notebooks, which are really a sensitive topic, especially as far as people spending a lot of time on the go are concerned.

However, functioning life won't really be a problem for the new Lenovo ThinkPads, the T420's 9-cell power pack, for example, delivering up to 15 hours of non-stop battery life (or up to a whopping 30 hours when an optional slice battery is added), while the T420s' 6-cell battery will last for up to 10 hours.

Also notable is the fact that the T and W series ThinkPad notebooks pack NVIDIA Optimus technology, which makes them a lot more power efficient.

All of the new ThinkPad notebooks should arrive in stores over the course of March, base pricing for the new systems being set as follows: T420s - $1,329, T420- $779, T520 - $909, L420 - $719, L520 -$719 and W520 - $1,329, respectively.
